Wooden ABC/ 123 Blocks

Some toys just never get old!  This is one of them!  Stack them to work on fine motor control, grasp and release (for babies around 9 months old) and color and number recognition (preschool).

Why I love this: There are so many different ways to play with these. You can have a tower building contest, build mazes or roads, spell words, make letter prints in play dough or finger paint. Another idea is to play a visual memory game by showing a few blocks to the child, asking them to close their eyes, removing one block and asking which one is missing.

FYI: These can be incorporated into play starting at 9 months and go all the way to ten years. Its a classic.
