Here is an awesome game that works on visual memory. The game starts with 6-8 cards face up. Players have 10 seconds to remember the objects on the cards before they are turned over. Each player takes turns being "Sherlock" and remembering the objects on the card he/she lands on. Arrows and numbers on the cards point to the direction and number of spaces to move before landing on a card. Player who lands on a card already face up, keeps the card. Whoever gets 6 cards first wins!
Why I Love This Game: A cool alternative to the usual memory game. Works great on attention and is really a lot of fun.
FYI: You can use more cards to make the game more challenging. Ages 5-9

Educational Insights RiddleCube The Game
Riddle cube is a super unique and interesting game that I recently came across. The object of the game is to be the first one to copy a structure on the challenge card being played, out of the cube, in 60 seconds. The cube stretches, bends, twists and folds.
Why I Love This: Riddle cube promotes problem solving, quick reaction time, motor planning, strengthening of the intrinsic muscles in the hands for better fine motor skills and more.
FYI: This can also make great fidget toy. Love this game.

Zoomball
Two people are needed to play this game. Each person gets two handles (one per hand) and moves back far enough so that the rope is no longer hanging. Facing each other, both players take turns opening up their arms and zooming the ball to the other player.
Why I Love This: This game provides a great upper body workout. A strong upper body is a prerequisite for strong fine motor skills. This game also works on eye-hand coordination, bilateral coordination, sensory processing and attention.
FYI: Great for indoor and outdoor play.

Tangle
Tangle is one of my favorite fidget toys! It twists, turns and bends in all directions.
Why I Love This: Fidget toys are great for keeping hands busy, improving attention during listening tasks and relieving stress. The pieces also snap out and pop back together which is good for promoting fine motor skills and coordination.
FYI: 3 years and up.

Flexcils
Flexcils are bendable and twistable colored pencils! They are comfortable to hold, durable, and won't rub off on hands. They also don't need sharpening.
Why I Love Them: Flexcils can also be used as fidget toys for kids who like to keep their hands busy and are seeking tactile and proprioceptive input.
FYI: They are triangular shaped so they won't roll away.
